Clarewin Albert "Al" DeWitt passed from this life on January 24, 2022 at his home in Vici, Oklahoma. Al was born on June 9, 1933 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Albert and Vivian DeWitt. Growing up, Al lived and attended schools in South Dakota, and North Dakota until the 11 ^th grade, and then he moved to Anaheim, California. On May 30, 1954, Al married the love of his life, Darlene Eloise Witherell, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Al was drafted in 1957 the National Guard, faithfully serving until his honorable discharged, being blessed with two children during this time- June Lea and David Allan. After his discharge, Al was employed at Douglas Aircraft in Anaheim, California for the next 16 years. During that time, the other three children James Grant, Kari Lynn, and Deszmond Douglas were born.

Al loved his children and taught them how to hunt and camp. As the kids got older, Al would take his kids to motocross every weekend, where they enjoyed the races. The family moved from California to Arkansas where Al made living in the masonry business, being very talented at brick and stonework. The family moved again, this time to Colorado, where Al continued his masonry work. Al and family moved again to Vici, Oklahoma, where Al continued to find masonry work, and later the Vici Co-op where he worked until retirement. To keep from getting bored in his retirement, Al started a lawn care service which he and his wife worked for many years.

Al was a member of the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn. His faith was strong, and it carried him until his fight was won.

Preceding Al in death are: his loving wife, Darlene DeWitt; parents, Albert and Vivian DeWitt; and sons, David Allan and James Grant DeWitt.

Al is survived by: daughters June Lea Kittler, and Kari Lynn Lipham and husband Mark, all of Vici, Oklahoma; son, Deszmond Douglas DeWitt of Loveland, Colorado; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and a host of brethren, friends, and family.
