Anita "Cheryl" Wilson Phillips passed from this life, with her family at her side, on November 6, 2011. She was 54 years old at the time of her death. Cheryl was born on the 4th of July, 1957 in Canadian, Texas to Doyle and Louise (Bennett) Wilson.
Cheryl grew up in Canadian and attended Baker Elementary, Canadian Junior High, and then Canadian High School. She attended the Central Baptist Church.
Cheryl was the proud mother of 4 boys; Justin Loren, Jerrid, Levi Clark, and William Adam. She was a loving mother and enjoyed taking care of her boys.
On February 15, 1983, Cheryl was united in marriage to Bill Phillips in Abilene, Texas. They moved to Arnett, Oklahoma to establish their home and raise their family. In addition to being a homemaker she also worked for a time as a waitress as well as a truck driver. Cheryl had many talents but her best talent was being a mother and friend to her four boys.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Louise Wilson and brothers, Roy and Wes Wilson.
Family members remaining to cherish her memory are husband, Bill Phillips of Arnett; sons, Justin Price and wife Melody of Fargo, Oklahoma, Jerrid Price of Arnett, Oklahoma, Levi Carr of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Adam Phillips and wife Lindsay of Woodward, Oklahoma; her 9 grandchildren, Dusty, Dallas, and Damron Price of Shattuck, Oklahoma, Bailey and Lane Ashpaugh of Fargo, Oklahoma, Rhylie, Sydnie, Tatum, and Kingston Phillips of Woodward, Oklahoma; one great-grandchild; sisters, Lindia Hanson and husband Bob of Merkel, Texas and Diana Petree and husband Jerry of LaGrange, Wyoming; other family and many lifetime friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
