AnnaMarie (Singer) Powers was born on August 7, 1960 in Pueblo, Colorado to Fred and Glenna Dell (Pantle) Singer. AnnaMarie grew up in the Canon' City, CO area. She attended elementary school in Arizona and Colorado. AnnaMarie attended high school in Canon' City, CO.
AnnaMarie was united in marriage to Terry Powers on November 15, 1980 at the First Baptist Church in Gage, OK. To this union two children were born; Shawn Powers and Yolanda Powers. After marriage, AnnaMarie lived in Gage for three years before moving to Lewis, Kansas when Terry was transferred by his employer.
In 1996 AnnaMarie and Terry divorced and AnnaMarie moved home to Gage, OK.
AnnaMarie loved to fish, spend time in her garden, sewing, cooking and spending time with her grandkids and many family and friends.
AnnaMarie was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Glenna Singer and grandmother Hattie Pantle. She is survived by one son, Shawn Powers of Russell, KS and one daughter, Yolanda Powers of Gage, OK, one sister, Mickey Kaiser of Medicine Lodge, KS, seven grandchildren, several aunts and uncles, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. AnnaMarie never knew a stranger that she couldn't make into a friend. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday April 1st, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.at the Believers Chapel in Gage, OK.
