Barry Kent Blauser was born to Darl Eugene and Frances Aliene (Barnard) Blauser on December 25, 1970, in Hobbs, New Mexico. He passed from this life on July 9, 2021, at his home in Austin, TX, at the age of 50. Barry attended Edison Elementary School in Mangum, OK and finished his high school education and graduated with the class of 1989 at Big Spring High School in Big Spring, TX. He achieved several awards throughout his high school and college years. He was on the National Honor Society, Student Athletic Trainer and a multiple year Fantasy Football champion belt holder. After graduation he furthered his education at Howard Junior College in Big Spring obtaining his Associate Degree.
Barry made his home in Austin, TX where he was the owner of American Bath LLC. He was an avid sports fan especially the Steelers, OU Sooners and Spurs. He liked doing puzzles, playing board games and was the best mathematician his family and friends had ever met. During the pandemic he started a new passion for Legos and monopoly games. Barry loved being outdoors whether it was boating, fishing, playing water volleyball it didn't matter he was up for any adventures. Most of all he loved spending his time and money on getting friends and family together. For example, renting a huge mansion for the whole family to be under one roof for Christmas.
Barry was preceded in death by his father Darl Eugene Blauser; paternal grandfather and grandmother Byron and Irene (Oyler) Blauser and maternal grandfather and grandmother Bill and Betty (Jones) Barnard.
He is survived by his mother Frances Aliene (Barnard) Blauser of Amarillo, TX; one brother Terry Todd Blauser and wife Abbe from Round Rock, TX; two sisters Sheri Blauser-Leckie from College Station, TX and Kari Lyn (Blauser) Howard and husband Ron of Amarillo, TX; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Barry had a huge heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Everyone who knew him loved him and he was a forever friend. He loved spending his time with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
