BEN" Bernard Hugh Holt, 20, of Leedey, died December 31st, 2012. Ben was born January 30th, 1992 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Donald Holt and Nona Meehan. Ben attended Fuller Street Elementary School in Nashville, Michigan. Ben moved to Leedey in 2004 with his mother and two sisters, and in 2006 he joined the Clinesmith family
graduating from Leedey High School in 2010.
Ben lived in Leedey with his Dad and Mom, Otis and Nalina Clinesmith and worked as a Flowhand at Rockwater Energy Solutions at the time of his death. He was a member of Harvest Fellowship Church in Leedey.
Ben had many interests and hobbies including, hunting, fishing, horseshoes, music, paint ball, guns, working and spending time with family and friends, always having a smile and something funny to say. Some favorite quotes, "A person is a person, no matter how small", "CRIKES", and "Give me a break, I'm Jack's Backhoe born and raised."
Ben will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by Grandmothers Bernice Holt and Ruth Burr. He is survived by his parents Donald Holt and Nona Meehan; sisters Cher Holt and Tara Holt; and 3 nephews. Dad and Mom, Otis and Nalina Clinesmith; sister Myeerah Musick and husband Scott; brothers Micah Clinesmith and wife Patricia and Joshua Clinesmith and wife Jennifer; sister Vanesa Clinesmith; 5 nieces and 3 nephews.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Shaw Funeral Home in Leedey. The Funeral will be held Saturday, January 5th, 2013 at 11:00am at the Leedey High School Auditorium. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to an account for Ben Holt at The Bank of the West to help with funeral expenses.
