Bernita Colene Dial, aged 81, peacefully passed away on March 6, 2024. She was born on January 24, 1943, in Camargo, Oklahoma, to Max Patkowski and Gladys Davis Patkowski. Bernita spent her formative years in Camargo, Oklahoma, and Vici, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Vici High School in 1961.

In 1962, Bernita exchanged vows with Larry Dial in Vici, Oklahoma. Together, they were blessed with three sons: Kevin, Stephen, and Christopher. The family resided in Gardner, Kansas, San Jose, California, Ewa Beach, Hawaii, Brunwich, Maine, and Birch Tree, Missouri. Bernita settled in Mooreland, Oklahoma, and spent her later years in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

Bernita possessed a deep passion for various hobbies, notably reading, word puzzles, cross-stitching, embroidery, and bird watching. These interests brought her immense joy and fulfillment throughout her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Max Patkowski and Gladys Davis Patkowski, as well as her sisters, Corrine MacIntosh and Marjorie Abshire, and her brother, Dick Patowski.

Bernita leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories. She is survived by her devoted sons, Kevin Dial of Pittsburg, Kansas; Stephen Dial of Sedalia, Missouri; and Christopher Dial of Jenks, Oklahoma. Additionally, she is survived by her four brothers: Frank Patkowski of Edmond, Oklahoma; Mick Patkowski of San Antonio, Texas; Victor Patkowski of Roseville, California; and Rick Patkowski of Gage, Oklahoma. Bernita's legacy also includes seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable happiness and pride.

Bernita Colene Dial will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warmth, kindness, and love will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
