Beth Ellen (Fox) Morrison, 82, of Taloga, Oklahoma, passed from this life on December 26, 2025, in Elk City, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loving family.

Beth was born on May 23, 1943, at the family farm southeast of Taloga, Oklahoma, to Richard and Dollie Fox. She grew up in Taloga and attended Taloga Schools, graduating with the Class of 1963. After high school, she furthered her education by earning a certificate from the Oklahoma School of Banking in Enid, Oklahoma. While living in Enid, she was employed at Champlin Petroleum as a key punch operator.

On December 23, 1973, Beth married the love of her life, Bob Morrison, at the Enid Seventh Day Adventist Church. To this union were born two children, Katrina Lynn and Robert Wayne, and Beth was also blessed with a bonus son, Jessie Barden. Following their marriage, Beth and her family moved south of Seiling, Oklahoma, to the Morrison farm. In 1982, they returned to Taloga, where they built their home and became deeply rooted in the community.

Beth devoted her life to public service. From 1982 until 2007, she worked in the Dewey County Clerk Office. From 2007 to 2017, she was the Dewey County Emergency Manager, and for many years she also served as the Director of the Taloga EMS and Taloga Fire Department. Her dedication and leadership were widely recognized; she was inducted into the Dewey County Hall of Fame and was named Northwest Area Emergency Manager of the Year in 2017.

Beth was a lifelong member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, attending the Canton church. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing basketball and running track. She often shared with her granddaughters her dream of someday moving to New York to become a fashion designer. Beth especially cherished attending stock shows with her granddaughters, going camping, and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Morrison; her son, Wayne Morrison; her parents, Richard and Dollie Fox; her brother, Everett Fox; sisters-in-law, Kay Morrison and Twila Eshelman; brothers-in-law, Albert Morrison, Dan Cline, Houston Butcher, and Carol Don Schomp; and a nephew, Monty Fox.

Beth is survived by her daughter, Katrina Bryant and husband Jimmy of Camargo, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Avagail Weiss and husband Cole of Mary Esther, Florida, and Donyail Bryant of Stillwater, Oklahoma; bonus son, Jessie Barden and wife Amy of Awalton, England; sisters, Doris Butcher of Weatherford, Oklahoma, and Betty Cline of Taloga; brother, Dennis Fox and wife Phylis of Taloga; sisters-in-law, Paula Siemsen of Chester, Oklahoma, and Lola Schomp of Taloga; brother-in-law, Bill Morrison of Guymon, Oklahoma; bonus grandchildren, Megan Hall, Jazzlyn Barden, and Kaleb Barden; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of other loved ones and friends.

Beth will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her servant's heart, her dedication to her community, and her deep love for her family.
