Bettie Karen Curnutt Eggleston passed from this life on December 6, 2020. Karen was the 3 ^rd child born to Orla H. and Marie Curnutt on September 21, 1942. Bettie Karen and her elder sibling's Joyce and Orla Boyd were all raised in Canadian, Texas.

Karen married Harvey Eggleston, July 7, 1962 and 3 children were born to this union. Kimberly Karen followed by twins Benjamin Orla and Kenneth Martin. The Eggleston's made their home in Higgins, Texas. Karen was a member of the Higgins First United Methodist Church and loved singing in the choir. Karen was always very involved in supporting her children's activities. Later in life she enjoyed the role of "Grandma Karen" until her health deteriorated.

Bettie Karen is preceded in death by her parents Orla and Marie Curnutt, sister Joyce, and twin grandsons Justin and James Eggleston.

Survivors include her daughter, Kim of Higgins, Texas; sons Ben and wife Shane of Higgins, Texas and Kenny and wife Deandra of Higgins, Texas; brother Boyd and wife Jo Ann of Port Lavaca, Texas; grandson Brad Eggleston of Arnett, Oklahoma; granddaughter Elizabeth Eggleston Selby of Vici, Oklahoma; great grandson Owen Selby of Vici, Oklahoma; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
