Betty Joanne Williamson, daughter of Howard and Wilma Lee (Young) Williamson was born May 14, 1953 in Boise City, OK.  She passed from this life at the Vici Nursing Home in Vici, OK. on September 12, 2021 at the age of 68.  Joanne grew up in the Felt, OK. community where she attended grade school and was a 1971 graduate of Felt High School.  On January 21, 1974 she was united in marriage to Cary Wallis in Guymon, OK.  One daughter, Laci, was born to their union.  In 1976 they moved to Woodward, OK. and in 1980 Joanne completed her undergraduate work at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Weatherford, OK.   She was united in marriage to Stephen Frost on May 19, 1980 in Woodward, OK.  Stephen raised Laci as his own and the family was complete with the addition of a son, Brendan.

In 1981 Joanne began the Woodward Domestic Crisis Center.  She received her Master's degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK. in 1989 and was a licensed professional counselor.  She was a dedicated counselor who believed in her work.  She enjoyed working with children and the elderly in particular.

Joanne was an avid reader and cook and loved sharing recipes and cooking and canning for others.  Salsa and chocolate were always on the menu.  Upon settling in Maramec, OK. she was always a part of preparing potluck dinners at the Methodist church where she was a baptized member.  Christmas dinner with family and the reason surrounding the holiday renewed her faith and made her shine.  Going through family photos and reminiscing could strike up great conversations which was something else she could do with anyone, anywhere.  She never missed an episode of Days of Our Lives or Jeopardy and rock and roll music would be on the radio.  Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.  She loved to see them and hear them talk about anything….they could do no wrong.

Joanne is preceded in death by her father, Howard Williamson and an infant sister, Kimberly Williamson.  Her husbands, Cary Wallis and Stephen Frost and other loved ones.

She is survived by her mother Wilma Lee Williamson of Felt, OK., her daughter, Laci Campbell and spouse Marc,  her son, Brendan Frost and spouse Allysa and   her three beloved grandchildren, Colt, Della and Francis Campbell all of Stillwater, OK.  Her  brother Arthur Williamson and spouse Linnett of Felt, OK., her aunts, special nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
