Billie Jean (Johnson) Chatfield, daughter of Elna Jean (Kell) Johnson Paul and Lester J. Johnson was born in Tulsa, OK. on July 28, 1953.  She passed from this life September 5, 2021 in Clinton, OK. at the age of 68 years, 1 month and 8 days.

She lived in Oklahoma, California and Arkansas as a youngster and graduated from Sylmar High School, Sylmar, CA. in 1971.

On October 14, 1977, Billie was united in marriage to Jimmy Ray Chatfield in Fayetteville, AR. They lived in Arkansas and Texas before making Leedey, OK. their permanent home in 1989.  Their home was blessed with four children, three daughters, Michele, Leslie and Nicki and one son, Jimmy Jr.

In 2015 Billie was baptized and became a member of the Harvest Fellowship Church. She was a homemaker and housewife, but also held various jobs outside the home including café owner and being a cook at the Leedey Public School cafeteria.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed babysitting her great grandkids.  She loved family get togethers and spending time at the casinos. Woodwork and painting were special pastime activities.

Her mother Elna Jean Paul, stepfather Melvin Paul, her father Lester Johnson and son in law Jason Harrel preceded her in death.

Memories of happy times will be cherished by her husband, Jimmy Chatfield of Leedey, OK., her children Michele Penner and husband Lonnie of Clinton, OK.,Leslie Haney and husband Matt of Leedey, OK.,  Nicki Mathes and husband Mike of Artesia, N.M. and Jimmy Chatfield Jr. and wife Lisa of Ft. Smith, AR. Her grandchildren, Jacob Harrel and wife Lena, Joshua Harrel, Keaton Haney and Kolt Haney and wife Allie of Leedey, OK., Jacee Harrel of Weatherford, OK., Kenzie Rounds of Clinton, OK., Matalyn Brooks and husband Clay of Owasso, OK., Bryanna Chatfield of Ft. Smith, AR., Dillon Ripley and Zoey Ripley of Artesia, N.M. and Aydin Chatfield and Ethan Chatfield of TN.  Six great grand children, other relatives and friends.
