Billy Willis Braudrick completed his earthly journey at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 26 days near Arnett, OK. on September 16, 2022.  He was the son of George H. Braudrick and Evelyn Pauline (McDonald) Braudrick Young and began his path of life in Shattuck, OK. on October 21, 1942.  Billy grew up on the farm of his step father Willis Young northwest of Vici, OK. and was a twelve year graduate of Vici Public Schools where he was active in the FFA program.  He was a member of the graduating class of 1960 and following graduation he went on wheat harvest with his favorite uncle, Keith McDonald.  He continued to do farm work and harvesting until he married the love of his life, Wanna Gayle Maddox on April 19, 1963 at the First Christian Church in Woodward, OK.  Their union was a partnership of over 59 years and their home was blessed with a son, Joe Mac and a daughter, Teresa Dawn.

Billy worked for Beech Aircraft in Liberal, KS. and various other jobs before moving his family to Evergreen, CO. where he was the foreman on the Broce Ranch.  In 1980 the family returned to their Oklahoma roots, establishing a home in Woodward where Billy was employed in several construction jobs and in the oilfield as a motor grader operator until his retirement in 2015.  He was a charter member of the Free Will Baptist Church in Woodward and was baptized in 1992 and upon moving to Vici attended the Vici First Baptist Church.

Billy made many friends and was always willing to help anyone with anything whenever needed.  His special interests were fishing, camping, woodworking and gardening, but his biggest joy came from spending time with the family he loved.  He especially enjoyed his grandchildren who lovingly called him PaPa and his great grands who called him PaBill.

Billy was a fine man with a huge heart.  He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Memories of happy times will be shared and cherished by his beloved wife Wanna of Vici, OK., his son Joe Mac Braudrick of Woodward, OK. and his daughter and son in law, Teresa and Terry Roy of Vici, OK.  Grandchildren Jennifer Ridenour and husband Eli of New Smyrna Beach, FL., Tiffany Benevedes and husband Daniel of Gage, OK., Rachael Braudrick and David Flores of Gage, OK., Jacob Braudrick of Oakwood, OK., TyRell Verhoeff and wife Jessica of Thomas, OK., Taylor Wherritt and husband Kole of Custer City, OK., Trey Verhoeff and wife Layonna of Woodward, OK.  His bonus grandchildren, Crystal Sullins and husband Jeremy of Canton, OK., Jonathon Baker of Thomas, OK., Rebecca Roy of Edmond, OK., Dylan Roy and wife Whitney of Ogden, UT. and Kassie Moore and husband Casey of Greenfield, TX., Twenty three great grands and seventeen bonus great grands.  His siblings, Barbara Maddox and husband Joe of Woodward, OK., Belinda Carter of Fargo, OK., Willneta Mitchell and husband Kerry of Buffalo, OK., Charles Young and wife Patricia of Irving AL. and Larry Young and wife Retha of Geary, OK.  A brother in law, Don Maddox and his wife Twila of Albuquerque, N.M., a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Billy is preceded in death by his father George Braudrick in 1945, his mother Evelyn Young in 1992, his stepfather Willis Young in 1981, a brother Jimmy Young in 2022, his mother-in-law Blanche Derrick in 2006, his sisters-in-law Ina Parker in 2005, Lura Derrick in 2003 and Mary Robertson in 2011 and numerous other loved ones.
