Obituary

Billy Lee Hosier was born on March 1, 1969, in Woodward, Oklahoma, to William Louis Hosier and Carolyn Fay Suthers. He passed away surrounded by his loved ones on July 28, 2025. Billy lived a life filled with laughter, love, and unwavering dedication to his family and those he held dear.

Billy is proceeded in death by his father, William Louis Hosier, his Step-Father, Bill Suthers, and his sister, Sherri L. Hosier.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, April Hosier of Arnett; his son, Stone Shea and wife Bailey of Woodward; his daughter, Courtney Scott and husband Brendan of Arnett, his son, William Hosier of Arnett. His grandchildren- Everleigh and Bryson were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his mother, Carolyn Suthers; his sisters, Brenda Gross, Betty and Brian Hobbs; and his brothers, Leslie and Jessica Hosier, Avery and Karen Suthers, and Nathan and Dena Suthers. Billy is also remembered fondly by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family members, and friends who were a meaningful part of his life and whom he loved deeply.

Billy dedicated over 35 years to the oil and gas industry as a skilled a nd hardworking Service Technician. He spent more than 18 years with Green Country Chemical before continuing with Rockwater after they acquired the company, where he worked for another 8 years. He then spent 2 years with SGB Solutions and was most recently employed by Winn Analytical.

Billy was known for his next-level BBQ skills, his infectious laugh, and his constant willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was truly a jack of all trades—and a master of them all. No matter what the problem was, Billy always seemed to know how to fix it.

Above all, Billy was most passionate about his family—he loved them more than life itself. He proudly held many titles: Son, Husband, Dad, Uncle—but his favorite of all was Papa. He found his greatest joy in the time spent with loved ones, especially outdoors, whether he was grilling, fishing, golfing, or simply relaxing with a cold one in hand.

We would like to ask anyone who wants to donate to a cause, to donate to the Leukemia Research Foundation. Dad was very open to the family about wanting to help people in the future with Leukemia.

Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation
