Billy Ray Mills Sr. 69, of Woodward, Oklahoma passed from this life Friday, September 19, 2014 at his home with his wife and children by his side. Billy was born on March 16, 1945 in Chapmanville, West Virginia to Johnie and Ethel Elksin Mills.

Billy graduated from high school with the class of 1962 and married Mary Rice on December 7, 1964. This union was blessed with four children, Trennie, Billy Jr., Debbie and Chris. Billy worked hard providing for his family, operating heavy equipment and working as an industrial insulation sprayer for many years. He loved to hunt, fish, going camping and spending time with his family.

Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Mills, brother, Charles Mills, mother-in-law, Belva Rice and father-in-law, Claude Rice Sr.

He is survived by his wife Mary of the home in Woodward, OK; four children, Trennie Warnock and husband Mark of Woodward, OK, Billy Mills and wife Lisa of Woodward, OK, Debbie Butcher and husband Ricky of Chapmanville, West Virginia and Chris Mills and wife Angie of Chapmanville, West Virginia; father Johnie Mills of Spotsylvania, Virginia; two brothers, Edgar and John Mills of Spotsylvania, Virginia; 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, other family and a host of friends.
