Bob Carl Craig was born on December 13, 1935 in Trail, Oklahoma to Carl Gradon and Bessie Mae (Clem) Craig. He passed from this life on December 25, 2007 at the age of 72 years. Bob grew up in the Leedey area and graduated from Leedey High School as Valedictorian of his class.

On October 15, 1959 he was united in marriage to Thelma Mae Owens in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Their marriage was blessed with two wonderful children: a daughter, Carlene Mae and a son, Bob Carl Jr. The family took up residence in Oklahoma City in 1959 until Bob retired and moved home to Leedey where he remained until his passing.

Bob was a hard worker and made his living as a roofer. When he wasn't working he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. Bob was baptized at the Leedey Baptist Church and attended the Leedey Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Bessie Craig; his son Bob Carl Craig Jr.; A sister Helen Lorene Craig; and a brother Tracy Leo Craig Sr. Those remaining to cherish his memory are his wife Thelma of the home; daughter Carlene Mae Trojack of Leedey, Ok; granddaughter Elizabeth Mae Trojack of Leedey, Ok; brother Arthur Craig of Leedey, Ok; and by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.
