Burrell Wayne Allen, 77 year old resident of Woodward, OK passed from this life on September 25, 2020 while at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Burrell was born September 11, 1943 at Palo Alto, CA to Ray Alvin Allen and Frances Louise Sawyer.

Burrell was raised mostly in Woodward, attending Woodward Public Schools graduating from Woodward High School with the Class of 1961. He then continued his education at Oklahoma State University.

On September 11, 1971 Burrell married the love of his life, Carol Jean Goode at the First United Methodist Church in Woodward. The couple was blessed with two sons, Jamie Ray and Robert Lynn. They started their family in Woodward, moving to Pampa, TX in July of 1993. In November of 2003 they returned to Woodward. Burrell worked in the Oilfield Wireline Industry. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing, his bird dogs, drag racing and mostly his family. He was a member of the NASTRA, NRA, API, Quail Forever and the Elk Lodge. Burrell was baptized and a member of the 1000 Hills Ranch Church of Woodward.

Preceding Burrell in death were his parents, Ray and Louise Allen and his brother USAF Major Thomas Ray Allen. He is survived by his wife of the home in Woodward, Carol Allen; sons, Jamie Allen and wife Norma of Woodward, and Lynn Allen and wife Jill of Woodward; sister, Patricia Tuck and husband Frankie of Woodward; grandchildren, Stacia, Clayton, Jacoby, Caitlyn, Tucker, Asher, Rhorey, Autumn, and Carson; five great-grandchildren, five nephews, one niece, many great nephews and nieces, other family, and a host of friends.
