Carilee Sue (Bair) Delano was born to Lawrence K. Bair and Carma Sawyer Clark on October 13, 1960. She passed from this life on July 4, 2021, at her home in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Carilee's childhood was spent in Richey, Montana where she finished her elementary and high school education, graduating with the class of 1979 as Valedictorian. She was extremely athletic, and she achieved several awards in basketball and track throughout her high school years. During college she played basketball and was often awarded MVP. She attended college at the National College in Rapid City, South Dakota obtaining her Associate Degree in Veterinary Medicine.
On July 8, 1983, Carilee was united in marriage to Joel D. Delano in Richey, Montana. They made their home in Jones, Oklahoma and in 1989 moved to their forever home in Choctaw, Oklahoma. To this union they were blessed with two daughters ChanaSue Breeze and Jo'Ell Marie. Carilee was baptized at the age of 12. She was a member of the Grace Place Baptist Church where she was very active in the Faith Riders and children ministry. She was passionate about spreading the word of Jesus everywhere she went, and this even included the city of Sturgis, South Dakota. She was employed at the OU Care Call Center in the human resources department and Mary Kay where she was in the Queen's Court. Carilee spent her life being physically active working out and doing karate. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and most of all spending time with her grandkids and family.
Carilee was proceed in death by both her parents Lawrence Bair and Carma Clark, grandparents Roy E. and Tills Marie Sawyer and Gerald K. and Olga Bair, sister Vicki K. Bair; nephews Jamey Lydy and Ryan Evenson. She is survived by her husband Joel Delano of Choctaw, Oklahoma; daughters ChanaSue Mixon and husband Jared of Valdez, Alaska and Jo'Ell Moore and husband Cody of Newalla, Oklahoma; brothers Terry Bair of Myrtle Point, Oregon, Garry Baker of West Valley City, Utah; sisters Laurie Hill of North Bend, Oregon, Sherri Bortolazzo of Benicia, California, Leanne Evenson of Lambert, Montana, Kimberly Noe of Medical Lake, Washington, stepdad C.C. Clark of Richey, Montana; 5 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
