IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carroll Leone
Theodore
July 28, 1935 – September 4, 2019
Carroll Leone (Salicis) Theodore was born on July 28, 1935 in Quebec, Canada to George Salicis and Yvonne Dessaints. Carroll grew up in Bend, Oregon where her family owned an electrical contracting business. Following the death of her father, the family moved to Goshen, Oregon where her mother opened a small business. Carroll attended some college. Carroll was married to William Pearson, and to this union was born Julie and Nancy. Carroll worked as a bank employee, but with the girls she was a stay at home mom.
On May 14, 1971, Carroll was united in marriage to Edward "Ted" Theodore in a Methodist church in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Following their marriage, Carroll and Ted moved to Spokane, Washington, and then Elk City, Oklahoma.
Carroll loved the lake and liked to fish and hunt with her husband. She loved all the water sports that her lake house near Spokane had to offer. Carroll was also a very talented artist. She could draw a quick sketch of a person and it would be perfect. She had an artist's eye in everything she did and could see the beauty in all of God's creations. Carroll loved her grandchildren and was crazy about her great-grandchildren, often facetiming them when she couldn't see them in person.
Carroll passed from this life on September 4, 2019 at the age of 84 in Mandeville, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her father George Salicis, mother Yvonne Cox, brother Doug Salicis, and husband Edward Theodore.
Remembering Carroll are her sister Sonya James; daughter Julie Pearson; daughter Nancy Pearson-Wetzel and husband Nick; granddaughter Chantel Dean, husband Kevin, and their children Kensley, Kadence, Kendall, and fourth on the way; grandson Cameron Wetzel, wife Megan, and their children Odin, Remi, and Naomi; and a host of loved ones and friends.
