Obituary

Casey Wade Hartwick, a devoted family man and cherished friend was born on November 29, 1981, to Chris and Brenda Hartwick in Tulsa, Oklahoma and went Home to Jesus on June 29, 2023. He exemplified unwavering dedication, love, and passion for his family, profession, and community and will be forever remembered and missed by his family and friends.

Casey graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 2000 and continued his education by pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Education at Oklahoma State University.  Armed with knowledge and deep appreciation for the agricultural industry, Casey set down roots in Northwest Oklahoma and built a life filled with love, purpose, and adventure.

Casey's professional journey included teaching Agricultural Education for seven years, with a commitment to his students and involvement in the FFA community.  His commitment and enthusiasm for agricultural education were evident to all who knew him.  Casey's impact on his students and his community extended beyond the classroom, as he nurtured a love for farming and ranching in the hearts of everyone.

In 2005 Casey met Abby while attending church and then married in 2007.  Together, they were blessed with two wonderful sons, Holden and Hayes, who brought immeasurable joy and pride to Casey's life.  As a dedicated father, Casey treasured every moment spent with his sons.  Alongside his best fishing buddy, Holden, they enjoyed competing in bass tournaments and fishing in every lake, pond and creek they came across.  The Hartwick family made countless memories alongside Casey including game nights with the family, spending time on the farm and ranch, and cheering on the Oklahoma State University football team.

Casey's dedication to his profession went hand in hand with his deep-seated love for his family, and he considered being a father his greatest accomplishment in life. He cherished his time spent hauling cattle alongside his son Holden, creating special bonds, and imparting valuable life lessons along the way.

On Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022, Casey embraced his faith and was baptized, marking a significant spiritual milestone in his life. His devotion to his family and friends was rooted in a profound sense of purpose and guided by his unwavering love for those around him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Abby, who shared an unbreakable bond and a lifetime of cherished memories. His two sons, Holden and Hayes, will forever carry their father's legacy and love of fishing in their hearts.
