Charles Kendall Eugene Woods, 72-year-old resident of Mooreland, OK, passed from this life on January 16, 2022.  Charlie was born on December 23, 1949, to Stella Rudd and Sylvester Woods in Wood River, Illinois.  He grew up in Wood River and Lawton, OK.  Charlie enlisted in the United States Army and served for six years where he achieved the rank of Sergeant.    Charlie wore many hats during his life.  He was a general contractor, electrical engineer, emergency management, and a licensed mental health counselor.  In October 2003 he married Karen Jean Fox in Mooreland, OK.  Karen and Charlie made their home there in Mooreland.  In his spare time, Charlie enjoyed being a HAM radio operator, computer technology, talking and storytelling, spoiling his grandchildren, and helping others when ever he could.  He was a member of the HAM Radio Operators, City of Mooreland Emergency Management, and Disabled Vietnam Veterans.

Charlie is preceded in death by wife Karen Jean Fox, father Sylvester Woods, and mother Stella Rudd.

He is survived by his three stepdaughters Margaret Fox and husband Nathan Fox of Tulsa, OK, Amber Fox of Woodward, OK, Kayley Carson and husband James of Woodward, OK; seven grandchildren, extended family and a host of friends.
