Clara Bell (Fletcher) Menser, daughter of Albert and Clista (Hyde) Fletcher was born in Paragould, AR. on Christmas Eve in 1936.  She entered her heavenly home February 5, 2022 at the age of 85 at Canadian, TX.  She attended school at Paragould and graduated from Greene County Tech High School.  Clara was united in marriage to the love of her life, Hilton Menser on July 11, 1954.  It was a partnership lasting one week short of 60 years.  Their first home was in Paragould followed by moves to Walnut Ridge, AR., Enid, OK. and Alva, OK. before establishing their permanent home and a business in Higgins, TX. Their home was blessed with a son, Phillip Wayne and a daughter, Pamela Sue.  Clara and Hilton owned and operated a grocery store in Higgins for many years and it was a family operation.  Clara was a member of the Affiliated Foods organization during those years.

She enjoyed cooking, quilting, sewing, playing Bridge with the Bridge Club and the fellowship of the Higgins First Baptist Church and later attended the Locust Grove Church. She was baptized at an early age.

Clara is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Clista Fletcher, her husband, Hilton Menser and other loved ones.

Her memory will be cherished by her children, Phillip Menser and Pamela Sue Garza, both of Higgins, TX., three grandchildren and six great grandchildren, three sisters, Marsha Rippy of Paragould, AR, Kim Fletcher of Lake City, AR and Betty Hill of Conway, AR, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
