Clarence Alva Dodd passed from this life on June 9, 2022 in Shattuck, Oklahoma at the age of 83-years-old. He was born on December 22, 1938 in Crescent, Oklahoma to parents Myrrl and Eda Mae (Monarche) Dodd. He grew up in Crescent, attending and graduating from Crescent Public Schools with the Class of 1957. Many knew him as "Sonny."

Clarence was married to Patricia Ann Herren on September 14, 1957 in Crescent. To this union was born two sons, Jeffrey and David. Following the death of Patricia, Clarence was married to Mae Belle (Reynolds) Goodgame on June 28, 2008 in Paducah, Texas. With this union, he welcomed two step-sons into his life, Roland Goodgame, Jr. and Forrest Goodgame.

Clarence and his family resided in the Arnett-Shattuck area, where he owned and operated many businesses throughout the years. Some of these businesses included grocery stores, gas convenience stores, and livestock sale barns. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Shattuck, and always faithful to attend.

Clarence loved his community and church, giving back and helping in any way that he could. He loved his family greatly, and did everything he could for them.

Preceding Clarence in death are his parents, Myrrl and Eda Dodd; wife Patricia Dodd; son David Dodd; and sister Billie Merle Brock.

Left to remember Clarence are his loving wife, Mae Dodd; son Jeffrey Dodd; step-son Roland Goodgame, Jr.; step-son Forrest Goodgame; grandson David Dodd, Jr.; granddaughter Danielle Cornejo and husband Clint; great-granddaughter Carter Cornejo; step-grandson Ben Goodgame; and many other family, friends, and loved ones from the community.
