Obituary

Champ Clark Woodrow Wilson Branstetter was born September 5, 1912 to Amos Henry and Hettie Lou (Courin) Branstetter at the family farm east of Arnett, Oklahoma. He departed this life on February 8, 2011 at the age of 98 years, 5 months, and 3 days at the Vici Nursing Home. Clark was the youngest of nine children. He graduated from Arnett High School with the Class of 1931. Clark worked for his brothers and one day while in Seiling, OK, he met Agnes Helen Holub. He continued working and wound up in Ontario, Oregon. He sent Agnes a train ticket and she joined him. They married on December 27, 1938 in Fruitland, Idaho. Later they lived in Seattle, WA, Guymon, OK and Oklahoma City. Clark worked for Boeing Aircraft as a machinist. They made special parts for the military air craft. In 1946 they moved back to Arnett and started their dairy business. Clark and Agnes ran a Grade A dairy for over 50 years. Eldest son, Larry, partnered with him for 34 years. Clark took little time off from the dairy. Clark loved to visit and reminisce about people and places. He could tell you history about many people and places right up to his final days. He loved his family and the many children they baby sat for. They all were the very best! Clark was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Agnes, his parents, brothers, Lewis, Henry, Harold, Raymond and Brandy and sisters, Emma and Lola. He is survived by sons, Larry and wife Darlene of Arnett, Ronald (PeeWee) and wife Karen of Arnett; sister, Callie Johnson of Seattle, WA; brother-in-law, Bud Holub of Enid, OK; grandchildren, Teresa Harrelson and husband Brad of Wichita Falls, TX, Casey Branstetter of Dallas, TX, LeDeana O'Neill and husband Ryan of Norman, OK, Craig Branstetter and wife Lisa of Watonga, OK, Cynamon Schleff of Norman, OK, Kristy Brodersen and husband Bob of Norman, OK; great-grandchildren, Tyrel, Tanya and Braden Harrelson, Brittney, Sarah and Damon O'Neill, Hunter and Skylar Branstetter, Jacob Schleff, Trey and Brooke Brodersen; other family and many friends.
