Cleta Yvonne (Wells) Mann, daughter of Robert and Letha (Copple) Wells, was born December 26, 1936, and passed from this life June 26, 2013 at the age of 76.

Cleta spent her first seven years north of Follett Texas, then in 1944, the family moved to a farm east of Gage, Oklahoma. Cleta graduated from Gage with the class of 1955. In August of 1956 she moved to Elk City, Oklahoma, where she attended five months of LPN school. Starting in January 1957, she worked as an aide at Newman Memorial Hospital in Shattuck, Oklahoma. In July of 1957 she moved to San Antonio, Texas where she met George Mann. On November 2, 1957 they married, and to this union two children were born, Robert and Georgia. Cleta and George enjoyed fishing and going dancing together.

In 1964, Cleta worked as an aide at the Shattuck Nursing Center. Then the family moved to Booker, Texas for a while. In 1968, the family moved back to Shattuck, and Cleta worked again for the Nursing Center until 1974. Then she went to work at the Newman Memoral Hospital until 1984. In 1986, she went back to the Shattuck Nursing Center working in the kitchen, until 2008, when ill health forced her to quit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Letha, and one brother, Hilton.

She is survived by husband, George, of the home in Shattuck, Oklahoma; son, Robert of Odessa, Texas; daughter Georgia Erickson and husband Duane of Woodward, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Franklin Keeton and wife Amanda of Vici, Oklahoma, Kyle Keeton and wife Carrie of Laverne, Oklahoma, Cody Keeton of Sanger, Texas, Monica, Kathy Bobby and Dewayne; and several great-grandchildren.
