William "Cole" Taylor of Leedey, OK passed from this life to meet his Savior on July 6, 2012. He was 29 years, 3 months, and 21 days old. Cole was born March 15, 1983 in Canadian, TX to Roland and Susan Taylor. He was welcomed into this world by a special big sister, Natalie.
Cole was united in marriage to the love of his life, Tami Laughlin of Blackwell, OK on September 16, 2006. Their family was completed by the addition of a son, Mason Cole Taylor on October 8, 2010. Mason was the joy of Cole's life. What a proud dad he was of this "Baby Boy" as he always called him. At the age of 5 days, he hauled him to Leedey, Arnett, and anywhere else he could think of by himself just to show him off.
Cole was an amazing father, husband, son, uncle, brother, grandson, and friend. He filled each of these capacities full of life. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on, or just be there to provide a good laugh.
Cole, (aka "Wilbur" to his "Dad" Rusty and his closest friends), lived life to the fullest in the short time God loaned him to us. He was always busy looking for something to do or something to eat. He loved his family, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, feeding cows, farming, racing cars, boating, and spending time with his wife and son.
Cole accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized at the First Christian Church in Arnett, OK. At the time of his passing, he was a member of the United Methodist Church in Leedey, OK. He loved his church family and was a very dedicated Christian, even being a witness while working.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Mona Bussard, Alex Kraft, Bud and Minnie Taylor, Melba and Orville Bullard, and John Hill; step-father, Shorty Patton and his uncle Kevin Taylor.
Loved ones left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Tami and son Mason of the home; parents, Rusty and Susan Crowley of Leedey, OK and Roland Taylor of Shattuck, OK; sister, Natalie Cheek and husband Jeremy, and nephew and nieces, Dakota, Trysta, and Kenzie of Eureka, KS; brother-in-law and friend, Rod Miller of Hamilton, KS; step-brother, Zack Patton of Ashland, KS; grandparents, Clara Kraft of Follett, TX, Merle and Lavaun Kraft of Lipscomb, TX, Bill and Yulonda Taylor of Arnett, OK, Bill and Pat Crowley of Leedey, OK, Hank and Carol Patton of Lakin, KS; father and mother-in-law, Larry and Betty Laughlin of Blackwell, OK; sister-in-law, Tiffany Standford and husband Shawn, and nephews, Joshua, Caleb, and Shawn of Yukon, OK; loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
