Norman Dale Morris, known affectionately as Dale, was born on November 3, 1951, in Vici, Oklahoma. He departed from this life at the age of 72 years and 22 days in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on November 25, 2023.

Dale was the youngest of five children born to Jessie Norman and Hazel Iris (Stoddard) Morris. He spent his formative years in the Webb community, attending the Webb school through the eighth grade. Dale completed his formal education in the Taloga public school system, graduating with the class of 1971.

During his youth, Dale worked in the mercantile store owned and operated by his parents in Webb. Later, he worked with his father at the Conoco Service Station in Taloga, Oklahoma. After relocating to Vici, Dale dedicated several years to the Town of Vici's sanitation department.

A man of diverse interests, Dale found joy in the great outdoors. He was an enthusiastic hunter and a devoted fan of the sport of rodeo. Dale's passion for rodeo led him to become a member of the Vici Rodeo Club. Always ready to lend a helping hand, he actively participated in various capacities and cherished the camaraderie associated with events held at the local arena.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Evelyn Reisdorph, and brothers-in-law Thomas Pixton and Ray Holley, along with other beloved relatives.

He is survived by two sisters, Marie Pixton of Elk City, Oklahoma, and Loreta Holley of Bethel Acres, Oklahoma, as well as a brother, Lyndel Morris, and his wife Vicki of Vici, Oklahoma. Dale leaves a lasting memory in the hearts of his nieces and nephews: Mary, Cindy, Mandy, Cheryl, Debra, LaRae, Sonya, David, and Toby. Additionally, he is remembered by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, along with other relatives and friends.

Norman Dale Morris will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we bid farewell, let us celebrate the life of a man whose warmth, generosity, and dedication to family and community will be remembered with love and gratitude.
