Danetta Louise Fogle passed from this life at her home in Vici, Ok with Shannon and Shawn at her bedside on September 1, 2012 at the age of 66. She was blessed to have her daughter-in-law Rene' providing excellent care until she went to be with her family in Heaven. Danetta was born November 26, 1945 in Mooreland, Oklahoma, she was the third child born to Daniel and Stella Randolph. Her brother Marlyn and sister Guylia were waiting at home to take care of their new little sister.

Danetta grew up on the family farm west of Vici. She attended Vici Public Schools and obtained her GED after her junior year. Danetta was baptized at an early age at the First Christian Church in Vici, and was proud of her several years of perfect attendance in Sunday School. Danetta treasured each of her children David Wayne, Shannon Lasue, Shawn Dell and Chancery Roxanne. She worked diligently to be a good mother and provider, always putting her family first. "Nana" was extremely proud of her two grandchildren Brittany Chawn and Chancey Luke, and they loved her as well. Danetta was very happy when Jake, Davey, Dillon and Jesse joined her family, and loved them as her own.

Danetta worked in several different areas of employment. She was an excellent waitress; she could stack dinner plates on her arms and make one trip while most others had to make a second run to a table. Best Way Grocery was a family owned business where she worked side by side with her Dad and many other family members making the business a success. The meat department was her specialty; she could cut perfect steaks out of the quarters that were practically bigger than her. Danetta was currently employed at the Vici Nursing Home as Social Activity Director. She loved working with the residents and really cared about their individual needs. She was dedicated to her work, and was a great co-worker and friend.

God blessed Danetta with a beautiful voice. She loved old country western and gospel songs. She could belt out Crazy just as well as Patsy Cline. Danetta thoroughly enjoyed singing with her sisters Guylia and Jarene, their voices complimented each other in perfect harmony. At the nursing home her voice was an inspiration and you could hear her singing hymns throughout the halls.

Danetta was a charter member of the Vici Classy Lions; she was very active and served one term as president. She made many memories bowling with her friends on several different leagues and numerous bowling trips. Danetta was quite like her mother in the many hours spent embroidering and working in her flower gardens. She enjoyed collecting antiques with tea pots being among some of her most favorite collections.

Danetta is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Stella Randolph; son, David Nix; daughter, Chancery Fogle and brother, Marlyn Randolph.

Those left to cherish her memories are son, Shawn Nix and wife Rene' of Vici, OK; daughter Shannon Day and husband Jeff of Woodward, OK; grandchildren, Brittany, Chancey, Davey, Jake, Dillon and Jesse; sisters, Guylia Thompson and husband Rex of Sharon, OK and Jarene Mcdowell and husband Tommy of Leedey, OK; many nieces, nephews, cousins and many many friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in the Jerald Shaw Auditorium, Vici, Oklahoma with burial following in Sunnyside Cemetery. Services arranged by Shaw Funeral Home. Condolences may be made to the family and Memorial Tribute viewed at shawfuneralhome.net
