Danny Ray Rush 59 year old May, OK resident passed from this life on November 4, 2013. Danny was born on November 7, 1953 in Shattuck to Vernie and Della Powers Rush.

The family lived in Buffalo, Gage and May, OK. Danny attended May Public Schools K-8th grade before moving to Ft. Supply schools graduating with the Class of 1971. Danny continued his education at Oklahoma Panhandle State University.

In March of 1979 Danny married Patti Jones and this union was blessed with two children, daughter Misty LaRae and son Anthony Joseph. In July 1983 Danny married Sandra Rothfuss and they had two daughters, Traci and Skyla. The families made their home throughout the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles.

Danny worked as a machinist by trade and rancher by heart. His special interest, were cattle, helping family, time spent with friends, grandchildren and "shooting the bull". Danny was baptized in the Church of the Nazarene and attended the Fargo Church.

Danny was preceded in death by his special friend and brother-in-law, Phil Simms. He is survived by his parents, Della and Vernie Rush; children, Misty Weber and husband Jeffrey of Freedom, OK, Anthony Rush and friend Dixie Brown of Bethany, OK, Traci Rush and friend Chris Randall of Gage, OK, and Skyla Rush of Vero Beach, FL; sister's Deanna Simms of Gage, OK and Linda Brewer of May, OK; 10 grandchildren, Linsy, Jaci, Levi, Aiden, Adrienne, Aiden, Summer, Paisley, Joey, and Taylor; several aunts, nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
