Daphne Eileen Mings-Wildman of Kermit, Texas died Saturday, May 3, 2008. Services were held at the Lenora United Methodist Church on Wednesday, May 7, 2008; Reverend Deborah Ingraham officiated. Burial followed at Mound Cemetery in Taloga, OK.
Daphne was born February 12, 1922 to Bert and Maude Seal in Taloga. She graduated from Taloga High School in 1940. She married the love of her life, Harley Petree, on August 5, 1944 in Lenora, Oklahoma.
Daphne had a great sense of humor and loved her family. She also loved to play cards and dominoes. She was very active in her church and was a Pink Lady for many years at the hospital in Kermit, TX.
Daphne was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Petree, on January 12, 1980, her parents Bert and Maude Seal, son, Danny Joe Petree on November 12, 1946, and one brother Stanley Seal.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Wildman of Kermit, TX; daughters, Judy Tatum of Amarillo, TX and Peggy Collier and husband Rodney of Canyon, TX; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Dennis Seal and wife Darlyne and George Seal and wife Corene; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Lenora United Methodist Church or the First United Methodist Church of Kermit, TX.
