Darlene Joyce Lloyd-Devlin passed from this life on April 13, 2022 in Mustang, Oklahoma. Darlene was born on August 13, 1937 in Tulsa, OK to James Martindale and Hester Wilborn. The family then moved to White Deer, Texas. Later in life she lived in various places in Arizona and Oklahoma. Darlene was blessed with three children in her life, daughters Lola Sue and Brenda Joyce, and son Johnny Blaine.

Darlene worked as a cook, serving both ranch hands and nursing homes during her working life. On one occasion, Darlene had the honor of cooking for astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. Darlene was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Darlene is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Evelyn Helfritch and Delores Kenrick; brothers Harold Martindale and Larry Hendrix; three grandchildren.

Darlene is survived by daughter Lola Sue Gallo and husband Carlos; daughter Brenda Joyce Shelley and husband Wayne; son Johnny Blaine Devlin and wife Barbara; brother Gary Martindale; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of other loved ones and family.
