Darlene Katherine (Hagen) Anderson

Darlene Katherine (Hagen) Anderson passed away from this life on May 1st, 2026, in Altus, Oklahoma. Darlene was born to Joe and Hannah Hagen on February 27th, 1940.

Darlene graduated from Shattuck High School in 1960 and went to work in the Shattuck Hospital Physical Therapy Department. Darlene was gifted with a creative and talented mind, sharing and enjoying hobbies such as cooking, needlework, knitting, writing, and quilting.

Darlene married the love of her life, Don Anderson, in 1988. Together, they moved to the family farm in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma and found great joy in raising cattle. They loved to go traveling in their camper trailer, especially to the Rocky Mountains.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Don; her parents, Joe & Hannah Hagen; stepdaughters Donna Anderson and Peggy Anderson; sister-in-law Evelyn Anderson, and brother Eugene Hagen.

She is survived by sister-in-law Delia Stanfill of Blair, Oklahoma; brother-in-law Ken Anderson of Blair, Oklahoma; sister Lovella Dennet of El Reno, Oklahoma; brother Arnold Hagen of Shattuck, Oklahoma; step-daughter Cathy Odette of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; step-son Keith Anderson, and wife Kimberely, of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma; son Jeffery Thanscheidt and granddaughter Savannah Thanscheidt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; son William Thanscheidt and grandson Thomas and Christopher of Salina, Kansas, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
