David RonDel Dodd was born on October 21, 1964 to Clarence Alva and Patricia Ann (Herren) Dodd in Altus, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on February 13, 2014, at his home in Arnett, Oklahoma.
David grew up in several towns in Oklahoma including Altus, Norman, Lawton, Woodward and Arnett. He attended grade school in Norman, Woodward and Arnett. He completed his education in Arnett graduating with the Class of 1982. David attended Falls Creek as a teenager and was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Arnett.
David was married to Diane Steven on September 2, 1989 in Wichita, Kansas. Two children, Danielle Lauren and David RonDel, Jr., were born to this union.
David was a farmer and rancher who enjoyed hunting, fishing and training cow dogs. He operated Livestock Auctions at Ada, Holdenville and Elk City. David was a retired volunteer Fireman for the town of Arnett.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Dodd and one aunt Billie Myrrl Brock.
David is survived by his daughter, Danielle Dodd, of Norman, his son David Dodd Jr. of Wichita, Kansas, his father and step-mother Clarence and Mae Dodd, of Shattuck, his brother Jeff and wife Helen Dodd of Arnett, his uncle Jerry Herren and wife Cynthia of Hennessey, many nieces and nephews, other family and a host of friends.
