David Landy Walton, a 44-year-old resident of Shattuck, Oklahoma, passed away on April 29, 2023, in Shattuck. He was born on December 20, 1978, in Dimmitt, Texas, to Sidney James and Pamala Lucille (Hayes) Walton.

David attended grade school at Woodward Public Schools and Big Springs Public Schools. He grew up in Levelland, Texas, and attended middle and junior high school at Levelland Public Schools. He was married to Leigna Caffin and later Angie Townsend. He was blessed with five daughters: Landy Nusser, Sydney Walton, Faith Walton, Hope Walton, and Chloe Walton. He lived in Gage, OK and Shattuck, OK and worked as a dairy farmer.

David enjoyed fishing, eating ribeye, spending time with his family, working on his nephew's house and working on 4-wheelers. He loved collecting coins and marbles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Pamala Walton, brother Danny Walton, sisters Kathy Stanley and Dorothy Wheatley, niece Bailey Carter, nephew AJ Carter, and brother-in-law Edward Stanley.

David will be remembered fondly by his five daughters Landy Nusser of Alva, OK, Sydney Walton of Alva, OK, Faith Walton of Woodward, OK, Hope Walton of Fargo, OK and Chloe Walton of El Mirage, AZ; two sisters Kandi Petree and husband Bob of Shattuck, OK, Michelle Sills of Eric, OK, four brothers Roger Walton and wife Deanna of Shattuck, OK, Billy Walton and wife Shauna of Cheyenne, WY, Steven Gafford and wife Kerrie of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Michael Walton of Texas; one grandson Grayson Walton of Woodward, OK; beloved dog Little Bub, nephew and best friend Josh Stanley; Heather Gray mother of Chloe; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family, and a host of friends.

The family will be having a memorial service on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the Fort Supply Lake GO2 Pavillion, at 12:00 PM. A lunch will be held after the service.
