Deborah "Debbie" Elaine (Morris) Watson passed from this life on June 9, 2026, in Vici, Oklahoma, at the age of 62.
Debbie was born on May 17, 1964, in Palisade, Colorado, to Cecil Gordon Morris and Sandra Elaine (Wilson) Morris. She spent her early years in Grand Junction, Colorado, before returning to Palisade, where she would spend the majority of her life.
She attended Fruitvale Elementary School, Bookcliff Middle School, and Central High School in Grand Junction, graduating with the Class of 1982. Debbie was blessed with two children, her son, Levi, and her daughter, Samantha, who remained among her greatest joys and accomplishments.
Throughout her working years, Debbie dedicated her career to the medical field, serving as a clerical secretary until her retirement. She was known for her caring nature, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others.
In her spare time, Debbie enjoyed sewing, crafting, and spending time outdoors appreciating God's creation. Her faith was an important part of her life. She was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on April 16, 1979.
In later years, Debbie relocated from Palisade to Montrose, Colorado, in 2023, then to Delta, Colorado, in 2024. In October of 2025, she moved to Vici, Oklahoma, where she made her home until her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Elaine Morris; her granddaughter, Sydney Branham; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Debbie is survived by her son, Levi Branham and wife, Miriam, of Delta, Colorado; her daughter, Samantha Platt and husband, Jeremy, of Redvale, Colorado; her sister, Lori Jacob of Grand Junction, Colorado; her uncles, Lee Wilson, Larry Moore, John Morris and wife, Tracy, and Nolan Morris; her nephew, DJ Jacob; her nephew Brian Jacob and wife Madison; her niece, Danielle Esser and husband, Aaron; her grandchildren, Jaidyn, Joshua, Hayden, Carson, Blake, Brooklyn, and Jordan; as well as numerous other relatives and many cherished friends.
Funeral services will be conducted in Colorado under the direction of Taylor Funeral Services, with assistance in Oklahoma provided by Shaw Funeral Home.
Debbie's kindness, creativity, faith, and love for her family will be treasured and remembered by all who knew and loved her.
