Obituary
Delathia Elene Mize passed from this life on August 14, 2008 at her sister's home in Shattuck, Oklahoma. She was 56 years old at the time of her death. Dee was born on July 5, 1952 in Ellinwood, KS to Bruce and Delpha (Cox) Sweeden. Dee attended Ellinwood Public Schools graduating from Ellinwood High School.
Dee married Gary Mize in southern California and this union was blessed with the birth of two children; Tracy and Aaron. The family lived in Victoria and Corpus Christi, TX. Dee later made her home in Shattuck, OK.
Dee worked most of her life selling cosmetics. She loved playing golf, reading, and beach combing.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Delpha Cox and a brother Everan Sweeden. She is survived by her children, Tracy Galneau of Goliad, TX and Aaron Mize of Victoria, TX; sister, Cindy Kies of Shattuck, OK and brother, Randy Sweeden of Placerville, CA; one grandchild, Bryna Galneau of Goliad, TX; other family and a host of friends.
