Delores Jane Kenrick, 74 year old Burns Flat, OK resident died, on January 31, 2016 at Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Delores was born on April 4, 1941 to Raymond and Hester Luevinia (Wilborn) Hendrix in Tulsa, OK. Delores was raised in Tulsa, Drumright and Vici, OK. She attended Drumright Elementary and Vici High School and graduated with the class of 1959.

Delores married Charles Dwight Kenrick on April 24, 1959 in Woodward, OK and to this union three children were born Monte, Paula, and Brian. The family lived in Vici, OK, Mountainview, CA, Woodward, Enid, Jet, and Spearman, OK, Spearman, TX, Yukon, Gracemont, and Elk City, OK, Livingston TX, and settled in Burns Flat, OK.

Delores was a homemaker but also worked as a clerk at Wonder Bread Bakery and in the bakery at Pucketts Grocery in Elk City Oklahoma. She had many interest and hobbies which included gardening, sewing, and ceramics.

Delores is preceded in death by her parents, her son Brian Kenrick; grandmother Louella Jane Waldon; two brothers Harold Loyd Martindale and William Murray (Larry) Hendrix, and her sister Evelyn Nadine Helfritch.

She is survived by her husband of the home Charles Dwight Kenrick; two daughters Monte Cogswell and husband Dan, Jr. of Fritch, TX and Paula Kelley and husband Bill of Fayetteville, NC; her sister Darlene Lloyd of Oklahoma City, OK; brother-in-law Elvin Kenrick of Enid, OK; sister-in-law Billie Mayes and husband Don of Piedmont, OK; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
