Dona Sue Steele, 71 year old resident of Leedey, OK, passed from this life on January 22, 2020 at her home in Leedey. Dona was born November 5, 1948 to Bert and Donita (Taylor) Walker in Oklahoma City, OK. She grew up in Oklahoma City and attended school at Crooked Oak Schools. She lived in Oklahoma City most of her life before moving to Leedey. She worked as a welder for the Kimray Corp. In 1989 Dona married Jessie Steele. She loved fishing, animals, and the outdoors. Dona will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jessie Steele, parents Bert and Donita Walker, brother Roger Walker, and son-in-law Edwin (Eddie) White.
Dona is survived by her daughter Charlotte White of Nicoma Park, OK ; her son Jody Alexander and wife Donette of Moore, OK; two brothers Jim Meyers of California and Jay Walker and wife Shirley of Oklahoma City, OK; two sisters Mary Ford and husband Larry of Leedey, OK and Jaymie Britton and husband Carl of Del City, OK; one grandson Edwin White II , four step grandchildren, aunt, many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
