Donald Vernett Karpe, born on July 4, 1959, in Ventura, California, to Vernett Milton Karpe and Helen Margaret Hale, left this world on October 14, 2023. He spent his formative years in Woodward, OK, and Seminole, OK, attending grade school in Seminole and high school in Woodward.

Donald was the loving father of two children, Kenneth and Donita Karpe. He resided in Woodward and Vici, devoting his professional expertise to the field as an oil field consultant. A man of diverse interests, Donald found solace in the tranquility of fishing and the thrill of traveling, which brought him immense joy throughout his life.

Donald's presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. May his fond memories and the legacy of his warmth and dedication continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Donald is preceded in death by his dad Vernett Karpe, brother Richard Karpe, sister Janice Stadder, and stepfather Al Fearn.

He is survived by his mom Helen Haler of Vici, OK; children Kenneth Karpe of Vici, OK and Donita Karpe of Lawton, OK; sisters Joann Savage and husband Gary of Benton, LA and Vonieta Wyatt of Vici, OK; brother Douglas Karpe of Vici, OK; three grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
