Doris Vaughna Anderson Lowder was born on April 13th, 1936 in Savage, Montana to Clifford and Bethel (Moore) Dashner. She attended grade school and high school at Sidney, Montana. On January 20th, 1954 Doris married Richard Anderson, moving to the country side near Alexander, North Dakota. They were blessed with 5 children; Clifford, Greg, Donald, Tami, and LeAnn. After 20 years of blissful marriage, change came to the family with the sudden passing of Richard.
Life called again a year later, Doris changed her name to Randolph, then her and the 2 girls moved to Vici, Oklahoma, while the boys took care of the home place up north. Eleven years after moving to Oklahoma, Jerry Lowder came into their lives, marrying Doris. They moved to Woodward, where she worked at Mary's Sweet Surprise.
Doris had many enjoyments in life, traveling North to see children and grandchildren always produced many great stories. Going to New Mexico and Pennsylvania where some of her favorite trips. Her great passion was watching and being involved in her grandchildren's local 4-H, FFA, and sports activities. She loved knitting, making jewelry and her hands often put together the floral arrangements for the Vici Senior Citizen Center. Doris loved her family. Lots of get togethers consisted of cards and dominoes- which she could be quite a wicked player.
Doris passed from this life on November 9th, 2017. Preceding her in death are her parents, Clifford and Bethel Dashner; husbands Richard Anderson and Jerry Lowder; brothers Clifford and Robert Dashner; sister Debbie Buxbaum; nephews Eric Buxbaum and Darren Linde.
