Dwight Eugene Tolle, a beloved resident of Arnett, OK, passed away peacefully at his home on July 7, 2023, at the age of 69. He was born on May 6, 1954, in Mooreland, OK, to Eugene Allen and Juanita Lucille (Hoskins) Tolle. Dwight was raised on a farm south of Arnett and continued to call Arnett his home throughout his life.
Dwight received his education at Arnett Public Schools, attending both grade school and high school in the community he cherished. On September 6, 1978, he married the love of his life, Sheryl Ann Allen, in Woodward, OK. They had three children Michael, Brandon and Crystal.
Dwight put in 30 years at Diamond Services, as a skilled heavy equipment operator. His commitment and expertise earned him the respect of his colleagues, and he was honored for his three decades of service at Diamond Services. He also continued working for Brandon at C4 Contract Pumping.
Beyond his professional life, Dwight found joy in various hobbies and interests. He had a deep appreciation for nature and enjoyed spending time watching wildlife and hunting for deer sheds. He was a skilled handyman, always tinkering and fixing things in his shop. He took great pleasure in keeping up with his grandchildren and watching wrestling, which brought him entertainment and laughter.
Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Allen and Juanita Lucille Tolle, as well as three siblings: Linda Tolle, Duane Tolle, and Larry Tolle. He was also preceded in death by his aunt, Shirley Hoskins, who held a special place in his heart.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Sheryl Tolle of Arnett; two loving sons, Michael Tolle and his wife Kristina of El Dorado, KS, and Brandon Coykendall and his wife Brandy of Arnett, OK; and one cherished daughter, Crystal Tolle and her partner Nip Page, also of Arnett, OK. Dwight's memory will be forever treasured by his grandchildren: Tyler Tolle, Ashley Tolle, Breanna Tolle, Cassidy Johnson and husband Levi, Brooke Coykendall, Brody Coykendall, Kinley Tolle, and Oakley Tolle. Additionally, he is survived by four great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a large extended family, as well as a host of friends who were touched by his kindness and warm spirit.
Dwight Eugene Tolle will be remembered as a loving husband, a dedicated father and grandfather, and a loyal friend. His legacy of hard work, resilience, and love for his family and community will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
May Dwight's soul find eternal peace, and may his family and friends find solace in the beautiful memories they shared together.
