Obituary

Edgar Arnold Pratt was born February 22, 1915, at the family home of John and Eula Pratt near Arnett, OK. He had an older brother, Guy, and was later joined by sisters Lois and Erma Lee.
Arnold graduated from Allmon Country School and later attended Arnett High School, graduating with honors.
Honors were also earned during his military service from 1941 to 1945 in North Africa and Italy. He earned the Legion of Merit award and a Military Valor Cross for outstanding service.
On June 26, 1948, Arnold was united in Marriage to Barbara F. Henry, daughter of John J. and Myrtle Henry. To this union two daughters were born, Euleta Mae and Sharon Kay.
A talented mechanic, craftsman and proud home owner, Arnold was for many years the owner of the Arnett Ford Tractor dealership. A dedicated member of the Arnett First Baptist Church, he served as a deacon for many years before moving to Woodward, OK, and serving in the same capacity in the First Baptist Church of Woodward. He was proud of his church family as well as his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Arnold was proceeded in death by his parents, John and Eula Pratt, brother Guy Pratt and sister-in-law Alice Pratt, sister Lois Farris and brother-in-law Darwin Farris and his wife, Barbara.
Survivors include daughter Sharon Afshari and husband, Sya, daughter Euleta Persall and husband, Pete, grandson Jake Persall, his wife Christina and children Colton, Caleb, Caroline and Caden, grandaughter Lori White and husband, Benji, and grandson Matthew Afshari as well as sister Erma Lee Teter and husband, Buster. He will be fondly remembered by numerous other family members and a host of friends.
