Emery LeRoy "Lee" Moss was born June 30, 1939 to Emery A. Moss and Juanita Moss in Vici, OK. He was one of four children born to this union. He departed this life on May 26, 2010, at the age of 70.
Lee attended Vici schools, graduating with the class of 1957. In February 1958 Lee enlisted in the Army; he stayed in active duty until June 1961. Lee then joined the Army reserves. He was honorably discharged in March of 1964.
On May 12, 1963 Lee married Anna L. Alexander in Fort Supply, OK. To this union three sons were born Dwayne, Billy and Michael. After Lee and Anna were married they lived in Ft. Supply, OK, Woodward, OK, Sharon, OK, Canadian, TX, Vici, OK, Weatherford, OK, and most recently Clinton, OK. Lee was baptized at the Sharon First Baptist Church in 1975.
Lee held many jobs over the years. He worked in the oilfield, for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, and as a maintenance man. Lee always enjoyed reading, and he loved working in the garden planting flowers. Lee was a loving grandfather, and enjoyed spending as much time with his grandchildren as possible. He also enjoyed having coffee with his friends.
Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Moss; parents, Emery and Juanita Moss; and one brother Wendell Moss.
He is survived by three sons, Dwayne Moss and wife Beth of Amber, OK, Billy Moss of Moreno Valley, CA, and Michael Moss and wife Melissa of Sterling, OK; grandchildren Casey, Cody and Darcie Moss of Amber, OK, and Jacob and Andrew Moss of Sterling, OK; sisters Donna Cordova and husband Warren of Denver, CO, and Lanie Word and husband Brent of Arnett, Ok; two aunts, one uncle, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
