Erin Elizabeth Bryant Suchy, daughter of Robin Turner Bryant and Terry Bryant, was born at Shattuck, Oklahoma on December 19, 1982. She departed this life on March 31, 2009 near her parent's rural home of Camargo, Oklahoma as a result of a tragic automobile accident.
Most of Erin's childhood years were spent in the Vici-Camargo area. Her first schooling consisted of one semester spent at Greeley, Colorado then two years in the Antwerp, Ohio grade school. The remainder of her grade school and high school years were spent in the Vici Public Schools. She graduated with the Senior Graduating Class of 2001 and was a member of the National Honor Society.
During her high school days she participated in band, choir, FFA, softball and cheerleading. Erin was FFA president during her senior year and was honored with the State FFA Degree. She loved showing cattle and during her sophomore year she raised and showed the breed champion commercial heifer at the Oklahoma Youth Exposition.
Erin made so many friends, not only in her school but from many other schools as well, and she was always willing and able to assist those friends in their many endeavors. She enjoyed "hanging out" with her classmates and seeing how much "trouble" they might get into.
As a child and teenager, Erin attended the Vici Church of the Nazarene. She was first active in the "Caravans" and received many badges for successful completion of her projects. As a teenager she became active in the youth program of the church and accepted The Lord into her life as her savior.
Erin and James Suchy were married on January 27, 2006 at Norman, Oklahoma. James was a member of the United States Navy. Since their marriage they have had homes in both Norman and Oklahoma City. They chose to keep their marriage a secret until just recently when James learned he was to be transferred to Florida. They were very happy, very much in love and very fond of spending time with family and friends.
Though Erin didn't enjoy it much, she would help her father, Terry, building fence. A more recent job working for AKR Recruiting as an assistant recruiter suited her much better.
Erin has been preceded in death by her stepbrother, Dustin Wayne Bryant; by great-grandparents, Edward and Inez Jones, Manley and Selma Turner, Marion and Ava Bryant, and Howard and Elsie Harper. She is survived by her beloved husband, James Suchy of Key West, Florida; parents, Robin and Terry Bryant of Camargo; grandparents Gary and Carole Turner of Vici and Garry and Joan Bryant of Camargo; sister, Laura and husband, Chase Sissom; sisters, Erika Bryant and Heather Bryant; brother, Brandon Bryant; special friends, Nate Quinn and Roxy Spenser; niece, Paiton Quinn; mother-in-law, Faye Suchy; brother-in-law; Sam Suchy; sister-in-law, Crystal Suchy; aunts and uncles, Shelly and Kevin Bay and Kevin and Jodi Bryant; special cousins, Brooke Miller and Leah Yoder and her husband, Cody; cousins Dakota and Kelby Bryant, Isaac and Brady Miller, Kaylee and Kiley Yoder; by numerous great aunts, great uncles, cousins and a great many special friends.
These people that were so dear to Erin shall remember the many things that endeared Erin to them: She loved playing with her dogs, Zoie, Spade and Daphne. She especially loved playing with her little niece, Paiton, whom she had named "Little P." The place she had in her heart for her brother and each of her sisters was very special. She would help them with their school work, fix her sisters' hair and help them get ready for the prom. The love that was experienced by Erin's parents and grandparents these past few months shall always remain special to them as they remember both her loving acts of kindness and her dreams for a new future with her husband - living by the seashore, walking with him on the lovely beaches of Florida, and planning their future together.
