Obituary
Estella Louisa Ethel Sherrill Bullard, daughter of Clarence Amos and Maud Louella Pritchard Sherrill, was born in Harmon, OK on September 21, 1923 and passed from this life on April 8, 2008 at her home is Shattuck, OK. Mrs. Bullard was 84 years of age. Estella attended Harmon rural school and graduated from Arnett High School.
Estella was united in marriage to Cecil Franklin Bullard on January 18, 1942 at the Presbyterian Church in Woodward, OK. The couple made their home on a farm northwest of Harmon. The couple was blessed with four children, Sharon, Linda, Max, and Donna. The family moved to Vici, OK in 1973 and later moved to Shattuck, OK in 1982. Estella enjoyed being a homemaker and mother. She also enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, table games, singing and spending time with her family. Estella loved music and crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Shattuck Senior Citizens and the Newman Hospital Auxiliary.
Estella was baptized as a child. She was a member of the Shattuck First Christian Church. She attended church regularly and taught Sunday School, Bible School, and she was a Song Leader.
Estella was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Franklin Bullard; parents, Clarence and Maud Sherrill; grandson, Richard Max Bullard; sisters, Goldie, Elsie, Rebecca and Frances; brothers, John and Amos; one infant brother; parents-in-law, Roy and Ollie Bullard; sister-in-law Helen Sherrill; sisters and brothers-in-law Arveda and Leo Stucker, and Carl and Alice Bullard.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Ann Patton of Shattuck, OK, Linda Kay Wayland and husband Ronnie of Arnett, OK, Roy Max Bullard of Shattuck, OK, and Donna Mae Poppe and Gary Zook of Cabool, MO; one brother, Kenneth Sherrill of Arnett, OK; sister-in-law, Elva Sherrill of Stafford, KS; nine grandchildren, Jimmy Patton and wife Ginger, Kimberly Brewer and husband Jess, Ronna Wayland, Sherrill Wayland, Brandon Bullard and wife Kathy, Troy Bullard and wife Shannon, Tyson Bullard and wife Micha, Robbie Poppe, and Amy Poppe; fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other family, and a host of friends.
