E thel Pauline (Harms) Miller, daughter of Harmon Albert and Belva May (Haynes) Harms, was born at Chester, OK. on January 27, 1922. At the age of 97 she passed from this life on April 23, 2019 at the Shattuck OK. Nursing Center, her home for the past several years.

On May 13, 1939 at the Woodward County Court house in Woodward, OK., Ethel was united in marriage to John Sheridan Miller. They established their home on a farm near Gage, OK. Their home was blessed with two children, Larry Ray and Phillis Ann.

Ethel was a homemaker, a farm wife and a loving mother. She enjoyed making quilts and owned her own upholstery business. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Gage, OK. and attended regularly as long as her health permitted.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Miller, her son-in-law Henry Peer, her brother Bill Harms and three sisters, Jean Ray, Joan Berry and Betty Creager. Ethel is survived by her children, Larry Ray Miller and his wife, Marjorie of Broken Arrow, OK. and Phillis Ann Peer of Gage, OK. Six grandchildren, Tonya Morris, Johnna Chapman, Nicole Hicks, Claude Bruce Miller, Kristin Wiard and Lori Shepherd. Seventeen great grandchildren, fourteen great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
