Etta Rae (Kellner) Clark, 83-year-old resident of Arnett, Oklahoma, passed from this life on December 31, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Etta was born on October 4, 1937 to father Milton Salmon and mother Willa Beatrice "Bea" (Hamilton) Kellner at their home in Vici, Oklahoma, being delivered by Dr. Shaw. Etta grew up in Vici and attended Vici Public School until the 10 th Grade.
On April 8, 1953, Etta married the love of her life, Emeral J. Clark, Jr., at Portales, New Mexico. To this union was born three children, daughter Kathie Renee, son Rocky Jay, and son Ricky Ray. After her marriage, Etta and family lived in several different places, including Helena, Oklahoma; Anthony, Kansas; and finally, Arnett.
Etta raised her children for many years, but after a time she began studying business at the Wrights Vocational School in Oklahoma City, where she would graduate. Following graduation, she began secretary work for a trucking company in Harmon and moved from this position to work as a legal secretary for a law firm.
In her spare time, Etta enjoyed working on crafts, including creating Memorial Day flower arrangements for family markers. She also enjoyed working on her garden and taking time to go fishing. Etta was also a large part of the horse racing circuit with her husband.
Etta is preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Bea Kellner; husband Emeral J. Clark; daughter Kathie Renee; son Rocky Clark; daughter-in-law Nikki Lynn Clark; granddaughter Dacie Clark; brother Leonard Kellner; and brother Robert Joe Kellner.
Etta is survived by her son Ricky Clark of Arnett, Oklahoma; brother Julius Kellner of Okeene, Oklahoma; brother Richard Kellner of Lindsay, Oklahoma; sister Louise Brandt and husband Andrew (Andy) of Newcastle, Oklahoma; sister Leora Cole of Norman, Oklahoma; grandson Joby Clark of Arnett; grandson Adam Clark of Aurora, Colorado; sister-in-law Cleatha Clark of Arnett; great-granddaughter Brooklyn Clark of Arnett; great-grandson Zanston Clark of Arnett; great-grandson Nikolas Clark of Arnett; many nieces and nephews; and a host of loved ones and friends.
