Freddie Laverne Graham was born November 6, 1934 in a dugout north of Leedey, Oklahoma to Elmer Everett (Bus) and Ola Martha Gault Graham. He passed from this life May 9, 2011 at the age of 76 years.
Fred grew up in Leedey, Oklahoma where he attended school. He then served his country in the United States Army Reserves.
Fred was united in marriage to Lorena Rae Douglas on December 3, 1961 at Leedey, Oklahoma. With this union he gained a daughter, Cherri. The couple was then blessed with the birth of their two sons, Freddie Laverne, Jr. and Wesley Everett.
Fred and his wife Lorena worked for one year at Cal Farley's Boys Ranch outside of Amarillo, Texas. He and his family moved to Woodward, Oklahoma in the late 1960's, where Fred lived out the rest of his life.
Fred was united in marriage to Barbara Barney on April 18, 1975 in Vici, Oklahoma. He gained two daughters, Brenda and Cheryl.
Fred worked for Diamond Construction Company in Woodward, Oklahoma for thirty-two years before retiring. In his spare time, he loved to fish and travel with his grandchildren to their sporting endeavors.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer (Bus) and Ola Graham and daughter, Cheryl Roberts. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years, Barbara Graham of Vici, Oklahoma; sons, Freddie Laverne Graham, Jr. and wife Carla of Choctaw, Oklahoma and Wesley Everett Graham of Madrid, Spain; daughters, Cherri Wemlinger of Pullman, Washington and Brenda Nagle and husband Steve of Woodward, Oklahoma; brothers, Billy Graham and wife Linda of Powell, Wyoming; Ronnie Graham and wife Kathy of Mansfield, Texas; Donnie Graham and wife Mary of Fort Worth, Texas and George Graham and wife Pam of Moore, Oklahoma; sisters, Edna Mae Day and husband Sanny of Okeene, Oklahoma and Peggy Mayer and husband Steve of Lake Forest, California; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, other family and many dear friends.
