Obituary

Gail Ann Cosgrave was born on July 19, 1958 to Stanley Leon and Edith Vaughn in St. Louis, Missouri. Gail went peacefully to be with the Lord on Monday, December 26, 2016, as her work here on earth was done. She is now with her loved ones in the loving arms of Jesus Christ, with whom she had a strong spiritual and loving bond with.
Gail attended elementary school in Edgerton, Kansas; Olathe Jr. High School and Osawatomie High School. Later in life, she attended Woodward High Plains Technology Center, where she received her GED diploma and LPN License. She devoted her career to caring for geriatrics in various rehabilitation and nursing care centers. The elderly gave Gail so much joy.
Gail worked at the Grace Living Center and Crystal Wood Village until her health issues required her to take early retirement.
She married the love of her life, Roy Cosgrave, Sr., on October 17, 1992 at Living World Fellowship Church in Woodward. Gail and Roy were planning to renew their 25th wedding vows in 2017 in celebration of their love for one another. Sadly, that celebration will not take place, although Gail is being laid to rest in the dress that her son Christopher recently purchased for his loving mother. Gail and Roy had four children between the two of them, three boys and one girl. The children are: Brian Vaughn of Phoenix, Arizona, Christopher Ruessing and Roy Cosgrave, Jr. of Mooreland, OK and Michelle Cosgrave of Woodward, OK.
Gail loved 50's and 60's music and dancing. She was an avid bowler with the Sunday night "fun bunch" bowling team from Woodward. She loved the competition and the times she traveled to Las Vegas with the group. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, family and friends. She was a friend to everyone, always saying, "I Love You" to those around her. She was baptized and accepted the Lord into her life at The Assembly of God Church in Mooreland, OK.
She is survived by her husband Roy Cosgrave, Sr., of the home, her children, Brian Vaughn and wife Krystal of Phoenix, Christopher Ruessing and wife Tina and Roy Cosgrave, Jr., of Mooreland and Michelle Cosgrave of Woodward; 12 grandchildren: Jennifer Rector, Christina D'Ann Ruessing, Kylie Ruessing, Cobi Ruessing, James Dean Ruessing, Anthony Thomas Ruessing, Rudy Vaughn, Neavaeh Vaughn, Stanley Vaughn, Cloe Cosgrave, Asia Cosgrave and Hayleigh Cosgrave; five sisters and two brothers: George Cox of Coweta, OK, Tiny Rameriez and husband Jay of Stanton, California, Robert Vaughn of Kansas City, Missouri, Johnnie Debra Baker of Parsons, Kansas, Sheri Wilson and husband Doug of Raymore, Missouri, Bill Vaughn and wife Tana of Gillette, Pennsylvania , Chris Scott and significant other, Mike Ashlock of Woodward, and one aunt, Ruth Chapman of Flatriver, Missouri; 13 nieces, 11 nephews, and many other family members and friends, who she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Edith Vaughn, great-grandparents, Robert and Florence Vaughn and Daisy and Ted Treece, one sister, Barbara Vaughn and several other family members and friends.
