Gary Lenvald Wingo, 62 year old resident of The Colony, TX died on May 23, 2022 in Sulphur, OK. Gary was born on November 13, 1959 in Dumas, TX to Wilfred and Peggy (Day) Wingo. Gary was raised in Dumas attending Dumas High School, graduating with the class of 1978. He continued his education at Garden City Community College and West Texas A&M. After college Gary moved to the Dallas, TX area.

Gary worked at Fabcous as a Civil Estimator. He loved fishing, boating, watching the Dallas Cowboys and was a huge Texas Rangers fan. Gary also enjoyed time with family and friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Wilfred Wingo, brothers, Danny, and James Wingo. He is survived by mother, Peggy Wingo Goodson of Dumas, TX; sisters, Misty Richardson and husband Chris of Panhandle, TX, Janie Wingo of Dumas, TX, Debra Schuman and husband Pete of Marietta, OK, Sherry Easton of Albuquerque, NM and Kelly Wingo of Arkansas; many nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends. He was the Best Uncle to all his nieces and nephews!
