Gina Kay (Fothergill) Nance passed from this life on December 17, 2021 at Seiling, Oklahoma at the age of 61-years-old. Gina was born on April 11, 1960 in Woodward, Oklahoma to parents Billy Floyd and Billie Jean (McBride) Fothergill. Gina moved with her family to Midwest City, attending and graduating from Star Spencer Public Schools. Gina moved back to Woodward following her graduation from high school, and would later move again to Vici, Oklahoma. Gina during this time was blessed with two sons, Billy Shelby and Chad Heffington.

On November 13, 1987, Gina married the love of her life Aubrey Lynn "Bud" Nance at Miami, Texas. With this union, Gina welcomed another son into her life, Junior Nance. John Nance was born to the union of Bud and Gina, completing their family. Following Gina's marriage to Bud, the family resided at Vici. Later the family moved to Perryton, Texas for a time, before returning to Vici. When Gina was diagnosed with cancer, she and Bud moved to Texas to seek treatment. Gina moved a final time back to Camargo, where she was living at the time of her death. Gina owned and operated a café in Sharon, Oklahoma for a time. For another time, she served as a night watchman for rig sites. But Gina's primary focus was on her family. She loved being a wife, mom, and nana, and it brought her great joy throughout her life. She loved her dog Sadie, and her chickens. She enjoyed antiques, her houseplants, and having a pretty yard. On antiques, her brother John stated, "She always showed me a new antique every time I came over." She loved being outdoors, going camping was fun, but she especially loved riding on the motorcycle with Bud. Gina enjoyed going to church when she was able to, and she enjoyed reading the Bible and sharing Bible stories with her husband.

Gina is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bud Nance; granddaughter, Hope Shelby; and parents, Billy Floyd and Billie Jean (McBride) Fothergill.

Gina is survived by her sons: Billy Shelby and girlfriend Crystal Wright, Chad Heffington, Aubrey "Junior" Nance, and John Nance; granddaughters: Faith Shelby and Lexus Shelby; grandson Anthony Lucas; brothers: John Fothergill, Mike Fothergill, Stephen Fothergill, and Dwane Fothergill; aunt, Pat McBride Furr; mother-in-law, Alveta Nance; sisters-in-law: Laressa Hutchens and husband Buddy, Sue Kennedy and husband Scott, and Krystal Nance; brothers-in-law: Richard Nance and wife Marianne, Lyman Nance, Tim Nance and wife Jan, and Andy Nance and wife Kimberly; many nieces and nephews; special cousins Tracey Prather and husband Scott, and Angie Fothergill; specials friends: Jaime Boese and Christi Heffington White (her "sister/friend" she had known since she was 12-years-old); and many other friends and loved ones.
