Gloria Joy Rea was born on November 26, 1952 in San Jose, California to Guadalupe Apodaca and Viola Cruz. Gloria lived in San Jose until 1969. On June 5, 1969, Gloria married Raymond Rea. To this union three children were born; Ted, Margarit and Sheila.
After marriage, Raymond and Gloria lived in Healdsburg, CA until 1999. They then moved to Ardmore, OK and resided there until 2005. The couple has lived in Shattuck, OK since 2005.

Gloria was a homemaker during her life, dedicating her time and devotion to her family. Her hobby was her grandchildren—she loved them dearly.

Gloria was preceded in death by her sister Linda Andrade. She is survived by her husband Raymond of the home, her children, Ted Rea of Shattuck, Margarit Westfall of Salem, OR and Sheila Rea of Shattuck, brothers Fred Apodaca of AZ, Tony Apodaca of CA, Albert Apodaca of CA, Peter Apodaca of CA, Benny Apodaca of MO, Art Apodaca of CA, sisters Ester Apodaca of CA, Virgina Pena of CA, eight grandchildren; Ashley & Andrew Jones, Theo Rea, Daniel Rea, James Westfall, Frankie Tillman, Haleigh Tillman and Cruz Rea. She will be missed by her many other family members and friends.
